We all the time ... make comparations.
It's stupid ... i know it ... but it's a real fact ...
Happening ... all the time ....
I saw this habit even ... at kids.
One time .... I've heard a discussion between some school boys .... related to the fact that one of their colleagues ... had the best mother from the world.
And you know why?!
Because that person was never complaining of her kid ... looking like she was accepting him .... just as he was ... without any expectations.
So .... they were comparing their mothers ... with that mother.
But ... the time is passing ... and we continue to make comparisons.
On ... and on and on.
Even in relationships ... we always compare our partners.
I saw ... especially the women ... doing that.
And ... accidentally ... i had many occasions to hear such dialogues.
It was ... funny ... cause into the beginning i was even shocked ... of what I've heard.
One lady ... was comparing how her actual partner is in bed ... with other partners from her past.
Discussing ... her friend ... started to compare her lover ... with that guy.
I've heard discussions ... of how much money ... one guy is spending with his girlfriend.
And ... why their partners were not doing the same?!
Or why ... their lovers ... not have that type of car ... like the neighbour from the corner of the street?!
Or why ... their lovers don't spend so much money with them ... like they read about guys from cancan newspapers.
So .... it was all a story about ... comparing ....
Every lover .... with those ... best examples we've had ... or heard about.
I could .... only laugh hearing such discussions.
But ... into a short moment of awakening ... I've realised that most probably ... all those ladies from my past ... or my present moment ... done the same thing with me.
And ... that explains ... the dissatisfaction... which i saw so, so many times ... but not realising what the hell was going on.
I really thought at that time ... that i am doing all my best ... in all i was doing.
But ... of course ... i was always compared with other men ... so ... i was probably not seen ... as the best men from those women's life.
I was ... just a man.
... trying.
Doing some things ok .... other things not ok .... but ... never the best ...
And .... even if i would do something better than anyone else ... that would never be enough.
... because i had to be the best in all.
You see ... it's simply a real fact ... a smart woman ... compares all the time her man ... with other men.
With ... her father.
Her neighbour.
With the lover of her sister, or her best friend.
With that tv star she adores by such a long, long time.
In fact ... with anyone ... who represents the best seen model in something.
I know ... it's ridiculous.
But .... we can't deny anymore such an observation.
It's maybe a natural fact.
Especially ... at women.
For men ... too ... but not such a dominant habit ... like it happens to be at women.
Unfortunately ... nobody is talking about the negative impact .. such a tendency can bring into a relationship.
Cause .... we can play nicely on the stage of life ... but not always be those best versions ... which we could be.
And most certainly ... not all the time.
